Sponsors will provide free downloads of music tracks through MySpace

MYSPACE Music a joint venture between News Corp (owner of MySpace) and the four major record international record companies EMI, SME (formely Sony BMG), UMG and WMG, allows users to stream music on demand, create playlists, add music players to their profile and buy DRM-free music downloads (via Amazon mp3) as well as ringtones (via Jamster whick is also owned by News Corp). This service was launched in the US and so far has litle repertoire from independent labels.
